# Oyster Labs Referral Program Terms and Policy

**Effective Date:** June 19, 2024

**1. Program Duration** The Oyster Labs Referral Program is valid from June 19, 2024, 12:00 UTC to July 3, 2024, 12:00 UTC. All referrals must be completed within this timeframe to be eligible for rebates.

**2. Eligibility**

* The program is open to all current UBS purchasers.
* Referees must be new customers who have not previously purchased a UBS.
* Both referrers and referees must fulfill all program requirements to qualify for rebates.

**3. Referral Process**

* **Referral Codes:** Each participant will receive a unique referral code which must be used by the referee at the time of their purchase.
* **Tracking and Verification:** Referrals will be tracked through the use of these unique codes. Accurate tracking relies on correct code usage.

**4. Rebate Details** Participants can earn up to $12 per successful invite:

* Refer 1-3 friends: Get $5 back per invite
* Refer 4-5 friends: Get $6 back per invite
* Refer 6-10 friends: Get $8 back per invite
* Refer 11-20 friends: Get $12 back per invite
* Refer 20+ friends: Exclusive invitation to join our first batch of the ambassador program

**5. Successful Referral Criteria**

* A successful referral is defined as a referee who completes the purchase of a UBS using the referrer’s unique code within the program duration.
* Each successful referral must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 2.

**6. Rebate Issuance**

* Rebates will be credited to the referrer’s account within 7 days after the promotion ends.
* The rebate will be in the form of credits applied to the referrer’s account.

**7. Additional Rewards**

* Participants who refer 20 or more friends will receive an exclusive invitation to join our inaugural ambassador program.
* Details of the ambassador program will be communicated to eligible participants after the referral program concludes.

**8. Terms Violations**

* Any attempt to manipulate or falsify referral information will result in disqualification from the program.
* Oyster Labs reserves the right to review and investigate all referral activities and to disqualify participants who violate these terms.

**9. Changes to the Program**

* Oyster Labs reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the referral program at any time without prior notice.
* Any changes will be posted on the official Oyster Labs website and participants will be notified via email.

**10. Privacy and Data Protection**

* All data collected through the referral program will be used in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
* Participants' data will be kept confidential and will only be used for the purposes of tracking and verifying referrals.

**11. Customer Support**

**12. Miscellaneous**

* By participating in the Oyster Labs Referral Program, participants agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
* Oyster Labs is not responsible for any technical issues or failures that may affect participation in the program.
